Assemble Media Group (AMG), publisher of Building, Housing Today and Building Design, has renewed its strategic partnership with the international non-profit organization Climate Group to highlight the critically important role of the built environment in the global transition to net zero emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The collaboration, which began last year, will continue until 2025. It will include the second annual event during Climate Week NYC, which will take place this September \u2014 the flagship annual Climate Group conference, held in partnership with the United Nations and the City of New York.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The partnership will also cover AMG\u2019s wider portfolio of editorial content and events throughout the year, including a new category at this year\u2019s Building Awards ceremony \u2014 the Environmental Impact Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mike Peirce, Executive Director of Systemic Change at Climate Group, noted:

As part of the partnership with Climate Group, the new Environmental Impact Award will be open to those contributing to the environmental agenda, including reducing carbon emissions, developing the circular economy, improving biodiversity, conserving nature, cutting waste and lowering pollution levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mike Peirce will also join the judging panel for this year\u2019s Building Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
